Dr. Katrina Chau - BSc (Med), MBBS (Hons 1), FRACP (Nephrologist), PHD
Dr Katrina Chau has been a staff specialist nephrologist at Blacktown Hospital since 2016 and is now consulting at the Davis Road Medical Centre on Thursdays. She is also Clinical Sub-Dean at Western Sydney University School of Medicine and a member of multiple national and international nephrology societies.She completed her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians in Nephrology in 2013, training at Liverpool Hospital, Westmead Hospital and in Vancouver, Canada. She completed a Doctor of Philosophy in the prevention of Preeclampsia in 2018. Dr Chau accepts referrals for acute and chronic kidney injury, Haematuria and Proteinuria, recurrent urinary tract infection, resistant hypertension as well as caring for dialysis and transplant patients.She also sees pregnant women at risk of Preeclampsia or preconception review. Dr Chau speaks Cantonese fluently.
